Win a mob promotion - terms & conditions
1. Promoter and Eligibility
1.1 The promoter is Farm Focus Ltd (ABN 67 691 618 658) of 37 Brandl St, Eight Mile Plains, QLD 4113 (Promoter).
1.2 The promotion is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over who operate or are authorised decision‑makers for a sheep or mixed farming business and who meet the entry requirements in clause 3.
1.3 The promotion is conducted nationally and is subject to the laws and regulations of each Australian state and territory, including any applicable trade promotion lottery requirements.
1.4 Employees, contractors and officers of the Promoter and its agencies, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
2. Promotion Period
2.1 The promotion commences at 12:00am AEDT on 1 January 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on 31 March 2026 (Promotion Period).
2.2 Entries received outside the Promotion Period are invalid and will not be accepted.
3. How to Enter
3.1 During the Promotion Period, an eligible entrant will receive one entry into the “Win a Mob” draw when they:
- purchase a new paid Farm Focus subscription on an annual or 12‑month commitment for an eligible Australian sheep or mixed farm;
- or add a new entity with an annual or 12‑month commitment to an existing Farm Focus account for an eligible Australian sheep or mixed farm.
3.2 Entry is automatic upon completion of the qualifying subscription action; no additional purchase or fee is required beyond the qualifying subscription itself.
3.3 Entrants must ensure that their contact details and subscription remain valid and fully paid at the time of the prize draw, otherwise their entry may be deemed invalid.
4. Accountant Entries
4.1 Where a qualifying subscription is tagged to a participating accounting firm, the farmer receives their entry in accordance with clause 3 and the accounting firm receives one entry into the separate advisory prize draw.
4.2 For every three (3) new Farm Focus clients an accounting firm onboards during the Promotion Period, the firm receives one entry into the community “Mini Mob” donation draw (as described in clause 6.4).
5. Game of Chance and Draws
5.1 This promotion is a game of chance; skill plays no part in determining the winners.
5.2 All valid entries will be included in a random electronic draw conducted by the Promoter (or its authorised agent) at Masterton, NZ on or about 6 April 2026.
5.3 The draw will be conducted in accordance with any applicable permit or licence conditions and supervised by an independent person or witnessed as required.
5.4 The first valid entry drawn will win the Grand Prize, the next two (2) valid entries drawn will each win a Mini Mob prize, and any further prizes (including Fleece Feed packs, if offered) will be drawn as specified in the promotional materials.
5.5 Separate random draws will be conducted for: the accountant advisory prize; and the accountant community “Mini Mob” donation prize, from eligible accounting firm entries only.
6. Prizes
6.1 Grand Prize (farmer): One winner will receive a livestock or rural store credit of $3000 to be used for livestock, fees and transport, plus a one‑on‑one Flock Focus session (online or in‑person) to model the winner’s flock and cashflow in Farm Focus.
6.2 Mini Mob Prize (farmer): One winner will receive a livestock or rural store credit of $1000.
6.3 All livestock‑related prizes will be awarded as credits with a nominated livestock agent or rural supplies partner and will not involve the direct supply or transport of live animals by the Promoter.
6.4 The total national prize pool is estimated to be between AUD $2,000 and AUD $4,000 (depending on reference prices and redemption choices).
6.5 Prizes are non‑transferable, non‑exchangeable and not redeemable for cash, except where required by law. Any taxes or charges on a prize are the responsibility of the winner.
7. Notification, Publication and Unclaimed Prizes
7.1 Winners will be notified by email and/or phone within seven (7) business days of the draw.
7.2 The names (or business names) and state/territory of residence of major prize winners will be published on the Farm Focus website and/or social media channels within thirty (30) days of the draw, as required by applicable state or territory regulations.
7.3 If a prize is not accepted or claimed within three (3) months of the initial draw, the Promoter will conduct an unclaimed prize draw at the same location and in the same manner as the original draw, subject to any directions from relevant regulators.
7.4 Winners of any unclaimed prize draw will be notified and, where required, published as set out above.
8. State and Territory Compliance
8.1 The promotion will be conducted in accordance with the trade promotion laws of all Australian states and territories in which it is offered.
8.2 Where required, the Promoter will obtain trade promotion permits or licences for this promotion. Details of any such permits (including ACT, SA, NT and/or NSW permit numbers, if applicable) will be set out here prior to the promotion opening:
8.3 If, for any reason, the promotion is prohibited, restricted or requires modification in a particular state or territory, the Promoter may cancel, suspend or vary the promotion in that jurisdiction, subject to regulator approval (if applicable).
9. Verification and Disqualification
9.1 The Promoter may request entrants and winners to provide proof of identity, age, residency, farm operation and qualifying subscription status to verify eligibility.
9.2 The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits an entry not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or engages in any conduct which the Promoter considers may be fraudulent, misleading or detrimental to the promotion.
10. Liability
10.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies any consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any similar state or territory law.
10.2 Subject to clause 10.1 and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for and excludes all liability for any loss, damage or injury (including indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the promotion or any prize, including as a result of: any technical difficulties, equipment malfunction, network failure, or third‑party provider issue; any act or omission of a prize supplier; or prize use or redemption.
10.3 Entrants participate in the promotion and use any prize at their own risk.
11. Privacy
11.1 The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to its contractors, prize suppliers and regulatory authorities.
11.2 Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter will handle personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at farmfocus.com.au
11.3 With the entrant’s consent (where required), the Promoter may use entrants’ personal information for marketing and promotional purposes. Entrants may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in communications.
12. General
12.1 If the promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated for any reason (including pandemic, infection, technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention, fraud or regulatory action), the Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, subject to any written directions from regulators.
12.2 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and entrants submit to the non‑exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the courts with jurisdiction to hear appeals from them, without limiting the operation of any mandatory consumer protection laws in other states or territories.
12.3 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
