Product Education Specialist

Product Education Specialist (hours negotiable)

The Product Education Specialist will serve as an educationalist for Farm Focus by managing our educational and training resources for both our internal and external stakeholders. This will include written, visual, and aural content. You will keep up to date with new features and releases, working closely with our innovation team and then successfully translate technical notes into customer friendly guides. Your responsibilities will include:

Product Education:

  • Maintain our Farm Focus Help Centre which is designed for specific audiences. This includes our clients, professionals (Rural Managers, consultants, accountants) and university students.
  • Involvement in our releases to understand the product features and how this impacts product education, and update both internally and externally accordingly.
  • Craft our intercom content, Bot autoreplies and pre-written response to educate our specific audiences.
  • The Day-to-day management of Farm Focus feedback tool i.e., Canny.
  • Technically communicate with professionals at seminars, workshops, roadshows, and events.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and customers to prioritise product education needs.
  • Work closely with our Client Services team to measure the performance of the help content.


  • Create and maintain content for internal and external education and training.
  • Prepare education materials for 3rd parties to deliver.
  • Update our demo data.
  • Manage our webinars, seminars, and training sessions for customer support by scheduling sessions and updating the content (scripts) in line with new features.

About you

We are looking for someone who has an excellent understanding of our product or has the technical aptitude to quickly grasp our product knowledge with the skills to keep up to date with change. You will be a strong communicator, with exceptional written skills and you will be able to present information effectively to groups. You will also be current with best learning practices.

  • Experience and/or an understanding of the farming industry.
  • Be able to travel within NZ as required.
